Yikes. It's been five years since I spent a semester of college in Australia. For whatever reason, memories of my time there have been flooding my thoughts lately. What a lucky gal I was to be able to study abroad; I know it wouldn't have been possible without my parents support (and funds!) to go there. Thanks Ma and Pa :)
This photo was taken at the Sydney Aquarium.

I love that photo; even though it's in color it has a 50s look to it - all familyesque and all..
Great photo! Yes, traveling and living abroad is so important to expanding horizons! It certainly gives you a different perspective on life, doesn't it?
It's always so fun to leave comments on your blog. While writing, I like having Henry's cute little doggie face gazing pensively at me from his featured spot. Aaah, I love the dog emphasis!
Have a nice weekend!

I've always dreamed of living in Australia (or at the least, taking a good long vacation there), so I am totally envious of your time there! You are definitely very luck to have had the experience. And this photo is great!
It does, Grumpster! Maybe I'll try fiddling around with it and see how it looks as a B&W.
Melissa, it totally gave me a different perspective on life -- and it gave me some amazing experiences: getting my SCUBA license, sky-diving, dragon-boating -- things I wouldn't have done here. And thanks for the comment about Henry. He is a cute little fella.
Ricki, I imagine you would love it there. If you do go and travel to Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef, you MUST go on "Uncle Brian's Tour." It sounds like it could be a bit cheesy, but believe me, it was the best experience I had in Australia in all of my four months.
