Not food-related at all. But this was Henry for the majority of the car-ride after we dropped off the A-man to leave for his deployment. I swear animals can sense feelings.
Where is A-Man going? The Soldier Boy just left last Sunday for his deployment. They have their "pre-deployment" thing still stateside, though on lock down for three weeks and then mid-October he's off to Afghanistan for a year.
My pups are handling it pretty well. It seems they've gotten used to the idea of him being gone for stretches during the summer, but they do mope a little bit.
I'm sure you have a great support system where you are, and we don't really know each other, but you know, let me know if you need anything. I think we're in similar situations--newly married, new towns, deployed spouses.
They certainly do sense feelings. Sorry to hear that the A-man has left. I'll be thinking of him and praying for his safe return. Hope all is well with you! :)
His poor little face is killing me - he is so smart, I am sure he is feeling lonely already. At least the two of you will have each other while the A-man is away.

I'm sorry to hear that he was deployed again. Poor Henry, and poor you! :( Such a sad picture...
