Me Me Me!
I have been tagged by Melanie over at The Gluti Girls. I've been following her awesome blog for a few months now, so I'm pretty honored! Along with her great recipes, check out the post about her dogs; it's really touching.
Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 random or weird things about yourself.
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Random, weird things? I've got plenty!
1. As a child I would hum when I was eating.
2. I was voted "Most Athletic" in high school.
3. I currently work in Public Access Television and co-host a few shows in my city. Sometimes I get recognized when I'm out and about.
4. My boyfriend of 5+ years is on his second tour of duty in Iraq. I miss him a lot.
5. I have been sky-diving and just two weeks ago did a "polar plunge."
6. During the summer in high school and college I worked as a tennis instructor at a swanky country club.
7. I'm going to be an Aunt in under two months! I am beyond excited.
Now it's my turn to tag seven more people! I choose:
Kate at K8 and Cat
The Grumpster at Grumpsterboy
Jill at Hey That Tastes Good
Melissa at Gluten Free For Good
Sally at Aprovechar
Jeena at Jeena's Kitchen

Hey Lizzie -- first off, that potato looks awesome. Second that deer story almost got me, glad it had a happy, happy ending! And third, I was tagged by Kelly at celiacchicks a couple of months ago. Yikes, sorry about that!
Love your blog!
Melissa
A little bit of a dare devil I see! I really like your blog. Very nice photos! And of course your dog is so cute!
Melissa - Bummer! You're quite the popular lady. I'll have to find the post and read those seven facts.
Melanie - Thanks so much! He's cute, but sure can be a little hellian sometimes. ;)
That's so cool that you did a polar plunge. I went up to my knees in the Atlantic in January one year, and less than 30 seconds later my legs were numb ha ha.
I'll have to think about my answers and whether I can think of ones that I feel are appropriate for Aprovechar!
Sally - I hear you on the numbness! I actually think just dipping in part of your body is more painful than going completely under -- you're a brave soul.
No pressure on the tag; only do it if you can find the time :)
Lizzie,
Here's the link. I got "tagged" when I first started blogging, but I was using iWeb at the time and lost a bunch of my posts and all the comments from the first few months. Grrr. But I did find that post (see below). The "tag" thing is a fun way to meet people! You've got a great blog going here and I love the dog focus. Check out my pup-dog on my "ABOUT" page. He's a big, lumbering sweetie pie. They make for such good sidekicks, don't they!? The designer who illustrated my little GFFG logo got his inspiration from my dog. Aaahhhh...
Take care and I'll "talk" to you soon!

Melissa - your dog is gorgeous! I just want to hug him. He must be a great outdoor companion; especially in the winter months.
Thanks for sharing the link; I love learning new things about my favorite bloggers :)
Lizzie,
Wow--I am so impressed by the sky-diving, and equally by the public access TV! And congrats on being an auntie.
Thanks so much for your comment on my blog and your kind words. Your own pooch is quite adorable--what type is he? I can see why you'd want another!
Ricki -- thanks so much! I'll be sure and post proud aunt photos once the baby is here :) My pooch is a mixed breed; I'm guessing a pointer/boxer mix. He sure is unique!
I finally did it! It was fun...thanks!
